Offering virtual counselling within New Brunswick and Ontario.

Life can be challenging and we can experience a variety of concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression or other challenges.  In addition, life with a loved one who struggles with BPD or BPD related symptoms can feel overwhelming, confusing and debilitating.

At Still Harbour Counselling, I support partners, parents, and adult children who have a loved one living with BPD or BPD related symptoms.

I have seen how easily family members can become overwhelmed by a loved one’s emotions, behaviours, or crises, leaving them feeling drained, anxious, and uncertain. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can separate their identity from their loved one’s challenges; regain steadier ground; and reconnect with their values and goals. You can also expect to gain guidance on navigating this relationship with empathy, validation, and support, while also reducing potential feelings of guilt when setting boundaries, and developing ways of relating that honour personal wellbeing without being consumed by your loved one’s struggles.

If you have any questions or would like to connect, reach out and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.
